Notice of Intent to Direct Award
Issued: June 9, 2023
File # PHSA 9751
NOI Title: Automated Shift Call Out Service
Provincial Health Services Authority
Notice is hereby given that Fraser Health Authority (“FHA”) (the “Health Authority”) through their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract extension to the following supplier to provide Automated Shift Call Out Services, for a term of up to ten (10) years at an estimated value of CDN $2,587,805.
Valsoft Corp Inc., d.b.a., Vocantas Software
2934 Baseline Road, Suite 301
Ottawa, ON
K2H 1B2
In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:
Rationale
The Valsoft Automated Shift Call Out Service system is currently functioning at high volumes. Within the current health care climate, change management associated with moving to a new system comes with high risk. Replacing this supplier would incur additional costs, negatively impact business operations, and endanger continuity of patient services
Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Karel Sramek, Buyer, by email to karel.sramek@phsa.ca before 12:00pm Pacific Standard Time, June 19, 2023. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
Please Reference File: # PHSA 9751 on all written correspondence.
