Description
The Ministry of Housing will be extending an existing sole source contract to the Supplier from the original contract that had expected start date of November 2023. The contract is being extended to accommodate the need to complete the original deliverables that were included in the contract. Unforeseen administrative turnover of the province caused the delay of the contract initiation, and the extension will account for the delayed start date.
The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.
- In 2023, the Homelessness and Supportive Housing Policy Branch (HSHPB) within the Ministry of Housing procured a consultant to provide technical data science assistance, including developing project onboarding and technical orientation materials for new analysts joining the Preventing and Reducing Homelessness 19-g07 Data Innovation Program project.
- The Supplied will provide analytics training and one-on-one instructional support to onboard and transition new analysts starting to work on the project.
- Using R programming language, the Supplier will transform the existing project code base to run smoothly with updates from Population Data BC, and leading various project analyses.
- The Supplier will lead analysis for Ministry specific analytical projects that examine how services impact experiences of individuals in the cohort who experience homelessness.
- The Supplier will identify and provide cross-ministry statistical analysis of available administrative datasets while generating reports that require methods such as cost estimation, longitudinal model building, and appropriate probability analysis.
Durée du contrat
La durée estimée du contrat sera de 13 mois.
