Invitation to Tender Notice
for Road Maintenance
Project #EN23DSN046
Sealed tenders for approximately 73.5km of Winter Road Maintenance on the Cunningham and Yekooche Forest Service Road will be received by the District Manager, Ministry of Forests, Stuart Nechako Forest District, Box 190, Vanderhoof, British Columbia, V0J 3A0, ground delivery is 1560 Highway 16 East, Vanderhoof, British Columbia not later than 2:00 PM local time, November 24, 2022, at which time all tenders will be opened in public.
A site viewing is optional, the Bidder is recommended to view the Work Site prior to submitting the Tender.
During the term of the contract, industrial users may begin operations on the Cunningham FSR, if this occurs operations under this contract will be suspended for the portion of the road(s) that have industrial traffic. The ministry will make every effort to have “equivalent” work available during any of these periods. The ministry has made provisions for this in the schedule C of the contract under section 7 of the Schedule C.
Tender packages will only be made available electronically from BC Bid®.
Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package. The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. This solicitation is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America on Government Procurement (CUSPA), and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA).
If the Ministry posts any addendum to the Tender Documents it will be made by issuing an addendum to all registered holders of Tender Documents provided directly by the Ministry.
