Motion Picture Studio Sites Feasibility Report Select Request for Proposal

Seeking Proposals from qualified consultants to create a feasibility report that includes a high-level comparison of three industrial areas of Kamloops where a purpose-build motion picture studio consisting of 2 adjoined stages of 20,000 square feet each and support buildings maybe erected and operated, in or nearby the City of Kamloops. The studio is configured to be situated on a 5-acre parcel of land. The three (3) industrial areas to be explored are: 1) Kamloops Airport Industrial Subdivision, 2) Campbell Creek, and 3) Southwest Kamloops (refer to Appendix A: Map of Potential Sites). The report shall be guided by the conceptual lot layout found in Nordicity's Motion Picture Studio Business Case Final Report December 3, 2021 (refer to Appendix B pages 15 and 16)

The report shall also include a deeper analysis and comparison of three or four pre-selected land parcels deemed suitable. As well, a comparison of the three or four parcels shall include potential mitigating actions for any challenges. Ease of servicing will be a driver for parameters.
