Selection of Operator at 5718 Choy Yuen Crescent

The City of Vancouver (the "City") is seeking a housing operator, or operator partnership of two or more ("Operator"), with extensive experience in residential property management to manage its social housing project located at 5718 Choy Yuen Cresent (the "Project"). The Project is comprised of 187 homes in a 22-storey City-owned building with 40% of the units suitable for families with children. The Project is located next to the Oakridge Civic Centre and Library.

The RFX will be administered through the City’s electronic procurement portal (the “Supplier Portal”).

Proposals may only be submitted via the Supplier Portal in the format requested by the City. Each Proponent is solely responsible for reviewing and complying with any Supplier Portal terms and conditions
which apply to and govern the use of the Supplier Portal.

 INFORMATION MEETING

1. An information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) will be held to enable Proponents to seek clarification with respect to any aspect of the RFP in a group forum.  The details are as follows:

2. Potential Proponents are encouraged to read the RFP and submit any questions relating to the RFP prior to the Information Meeting.
3. Potential Proponents interested in attending the Information Meeting should pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting their attendees' names, titles and contact information using the Q&A Board section of this RFP prior to 4:00 PM, October 15, 2024.
4. The City will in good faith attempt to give accurate oral responses to questions posed during the Information Meeting but Proponents are advised that they may only rely on the written information contained herein or in documents posted to the City’s website.
