GATEWAY 286 OFF-SITE CIVIL WORKS

The City of Merritt invites tenders for the construction of a water system and sanitary sewer system expansion
within the City. A summary of specific work items includes the following (approx. quantities):
• Approximately 1,320 l.m. of 300mmØ DR18 C900 PVC watermain.
• Approximately 1,200 l.m. of 200mmØ DR14 C900 PVC watermain.
• Approximately 1,125 l.m. of 200mmØ DR18 C900 PVC watermain.
• Approximately 40 l.m. of 150mmØ DR18 C900 PVC watermain.
• 2,000 m3 glass fused to steel potable water reservoir and associated appurtenances.
• Booster station building c/w with two (2) 40 Hp vertical multistage centrifugal pumps, chlorination, bypass
and appurtenances.
• Approximately 2,320 l.m. of 250mmØ SDR35 PVC sanitary gravity sewer.
• Approximately 34 1050mmØ sewer manholes.
• Approximately 70 l.m. of 1600mmØ CSP storm piping and associated headwalls.
• Approximately 65 l.m. of 600mmØ CSP storm piping.
• Approximately 55 l.m. of 450mmØ storm piping c/w 1050mmØ manhole connections and outlet headwall.
• Approximately 50 l.m. of 200mmØ storm piping c/w 1050mmØ manhole connections and outlet headwall.
• Approximately 315 m2 of 100kg riprap and non-woven geotextile.
• Approximately 2,170 m2 of hot mix asphalt concrete paving for roadway construction.
• Approximately five (5) trenchless crossings of Highway 5 and 5A.
• Modular precast block retaining wall approximately 30m in length and 1.2m in hight.
