This Request for Proposals (RFP) is available for all interested proponents.
The City of Calgary requires a qualified consulting firm to provide design through to construction completion of the streetscape and public realm adjacent to a private development parcel.
This project focuses on the south park and ride facility at Franklin Station and adjacent public space (See F.1 Map 1: Site Plan, red highlighted area, 7.7.1.1).
The desired outcome is to make the site ready for redevelopment, while continuing to meet the needs of Calgary transit, and deliver high-quality, functional streetscapes and public spaces that enhance quality of life for current and future residents of the area. The Consultant will deliver project management, engagement support, planning, design, engineering and construction administration services to allow delivery of capital investments and on-site housing.
Note: This project is dependent on land use approval of land use application LOC2024-0155.
Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement Letter, the award under this RFP will be for all Phases of the Requirements, subject to approval by The City after each Phase.
This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
