City of Edmonton - Request for Proposal - 939405 Supply of Liquid Calcium Chloride

The City of Edmonton (the “City”) invites bidders to submit bids for this Sourcing Event for the supply and delivery of corrosion inhibited liquid calcium chloride material for winter operation to be used on bike lanes, sidewalks and active pathways, and for pre-wetting sand stockpiles; and the supply of dust abatement and base stabilization liquid calcium chloride material for summer operations. The Work to be performed by the successful bidder is outlined in the Description of Goods document attached to the Form of Agreement Section in the SAP Ariba platform. The intended Term of Contract will be 2 years. In its sole discretion, the City may extend the Term on the same terms and conditions for up to 9 additional years. The length of any extension(s) will be at the City’s sole discretion. It is the City's intention to enter into the Contract with only one bidder. The bidder agrees to submit bids only through this SAP Ariba platform and not to submit bids via any other mechanism including, but not limited to, post, courier, fax, e-mail, or orally, unless specifically requested by the City. Bids submitted through means other than the SAP Ariba platform, except as specifically allowed by the City, will not be accepted by the City.
