Elk Island School Division - Request for Proposal - Parking Lot Winter Maintenance Services

Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is requesting Proposals from qualified snow removal, hauling, sanding and spring-cleaning service companies for the maintenance of parking lots, drive lanes, fire lanes and student drop off areas for designated facilities. 1. RFP terms and conditions: 1. The terms and conditions governing this RFP are outlined in RFP Terms and Conditions. 2. The successful Respondent will be expected to enter into an EIPS’s Contract. 2. Proposals Submitted shall include: 1. One copy of the proposal emailed to purchasing@eips.ca before the closing date and time indicated on the cover page. 3. Questionnaire: 1. Respondents must provide a completed Schedule “B” – Questionnaire. 4. Pricing: 1. Respondents must provide a completed Schedule “C-1 ” – Pricing (Sherwood Park) and/or Schedule “C-2 – Pricing (Fort Saskatchewan). Pricing for the term of the contract must remain firm. 2. Each proposal must completely describe pricing, GST excluded, as well as pricing strategy used for the proposal, including but not restricted to manufacture discount structure, volume discounts, etc. 3. The pricing structure is to be transparent for auditing purposes. 4. Acknowledgement of issued Addendums – (if applicable). 5. Insurance: 1. Respondents to provide an up-to date Certificate of Insurance (COI) for Commercial General Liability insurance in the amount of no less than Five Million ($5,000,000.00) per occurrence and no less than Five Million ($5,000,000.00) aggregate including Non-owned Auto with a minimum amount of Two Million ($2,000,000.00) 2. Automobile liability on all vehicles owned, operated, or licensed in the name of the contractor not less than Two Million ($2,000,000.00) per occurrence. 3. Contractor’s Equipment insurance coverage written on an “all risks” basis covering Equipment used by the Contractor. 4. The COI must not be expired and “The Board of Trustees of Elk Island Public Schools” must be included as an additional Insured and include a 30-day notice of cancellation clause. 6. Worker’s compensation (if applicable): 1. Respondents must provide a current WCB clearance letter.
