City of Calgary - Pre-qualification Request - 24-2021 Building Commissiong Services

This RFSO is open to all interested vendors. 1) - The City of Calgary is issuing this RFSO for the purpose of retaining up to five (5) consulting firms to provide commissioning services on different building infrastructure and open spaces infrastructure projects on when-required basis. The exact scope of work will vary by project. Respondents must be capable and willing to work on projects of both types. The project types are: * Type 1: New construction, addition, major renovation and interior renovation projects: These projects are required to comply with The City of Calgary’s Sustainable Building Policy and its Sustainable Building Guidance Document. This policy and guidance document requires projects to follow ASHRAE and enhanced LEED commissioning requirements (excluding monitoring-based commissioning). * Type 2: All other building projects including lifecycle work, recommissioning and retro-commissioning: These projects will vary in scope and exact requirements will be defined on a project-by-project basis. 2)- This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 3)- The RFSO list is valid for three (3) years.
