AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted by 2022-11-07 at 2:00 PM EST. All bids submitted after 2:00 PM EST will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers; the second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified suppliers to provide a bid package including technical bid, Indigenous Benefits Package and financial bid on the project based on the specifications. Parks Canada Agency is mandated with the administering the operation, maintenance and renewal of highway and road assets in National Parks across Canada. Operations and maintenance activities include winter / non-winter cyclical activities and elective activities necessary to maintain highways, roads, assets and the right-of-way in a manner that meets the desired service levels. Wood Buffalo National Park straddles the two jurisdictional boundaries of the Government of Alberta (Improvement District No. 24) and the Government of the Northwest Territories. The total length of chipsealed highway is 117km and the total length of gravel highways and roads is 261.6km. Period of contract shall be from September 1, 2024 to July 31, 2030. The Contractor will grant to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to one additional term of a four-year period, under the same conditions.
