SECURITY There is security requirement associated with the requirement. 2. REQUIREMENT: The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), has a requirement for the inspection services of elevating devices and associated safety devices. The Work is to be performed during the period of April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, with the option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four (4) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions. 3. EVALUATION AND SELECTION Mandatory technical evaluation criteria are included in Part 4 Evaluation Procedures and Basis of Selection, of the solicitation. The mandatory technical criteria include, but are not limited to: 1. The Bidder and all proposed resources must hold a valid certificate issued under Ontario Regulation 222/01, as amended by Ontario Regulation 250/08, pursuant to the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000. 2. The Bidder must include with their bid a signed declaration stating that they are not currently engaged in any activities, with any department or agency of the Public Service, in the Province of Ontario, within the scope of this requirement for the operation, repair or maintenance of any elevating device, and that they agree to maintain this status for the duration of the proposed Contract and any extensions thereafter. 3. The Bidder must submit a Project Safety Plan which covers all critical safety aspects of the project. 4. The Bidder must provide evidence of the proposed Inspector’s experience and past performance by providing three (3) contract or projects, wherein the elevator inspection services provided are similar to those described in this requirement. Refer to the Request for Proposal for the complete list. The Bidder must submit pricing in accordance with Annex B - Basis of Payment, in Canadian Funds. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
