    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement to construct a floating dock at the SAR Station, located in Twillingate, Newfoundland.
    
    The scope of the work for this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material to perform the work.
    
    Work under this Contract will consist of but will not necessarily be limited to the following:
    
    - Supply and installation of one treated timber floating dock.
    - Modifications to existing floating dock including removal of wheelguard and supply and installation of sliding plates.
    - Supply and installation of two vertical guide rails for attachment of new floating dock. 
    
    
    Bidders must refer to R2710T GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS (GI) (2020-05-28) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.
    
    FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITE 
    
    Prior to submitting a bid, it is recommended bidders visit the site to review existing conditions and determine materials needed, the means of access and the temporary facilities required to perform the Work.  
    
    Obtain prior permission from the Departmental Representative before carrying out site inspection. 
    
    Any omissions from contractor bid as a result of not performing site visit shall not be considered valid for additions to contract amount.
