Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of Canada, is refreshing a Supply Arrangement (SA) for Autonomous Acoustic Recording (AAR) devices to collect underwater acoustic data from environmental and anthropogenic noise and the sounds emitted by marine species. The primary purpose of the refresh is to allow new suppliers the opportunity to qualify to become SA holders. Existing supply arrangement holders are not required to re-qualify. A Notice and the RFSA will be posted continuously on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) to allow suppliers to become qualified for a Supply Arrangement on an on-going basis.

The period of the Supply Arrangements will be from date of award up to August 28, 2021 with the possibility of 2 optional 1 year extension periods under the same terms and conditions. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

This qualification solicitation is not intended as a solicitation of bids or tenders for the purpose of awarding any contracts and is not to be considered as a commitment to issue any bid solicitation or contract for any specific requirement.

Delivery dates, quantities and location will be determined by the individual requirements under the Supply Arrangement.

Suppliers may request a debriefing on the results of the request for supply arrangements process. Suppliers should make the request to the Supply Arrangement Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for supply arrangements process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
