    BATON HOLDER
    
    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for Holders, Expendable Baton. The Holders must be made in accordance with the RCMP Purchase Description DP-PE-78 dated 2019-02-25.
    
    FIRM QUANTITY:
    Holder, Extendable Baton 16" - 500
    Holder, Extendable Baton 21" - 300
    Holder, Extendable Baton 26" - 3,000
    
    ESTIMATED QUANTITY ("AS & WHEN REQUESTED"):
    This requirement also includes an estimated quantity of 2,000 units of either sizes of the Holder. The estimated quantity may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by the RCMP for a period of 48 months from the effective date of the contract. Canada is not obliged to request any such goods and the quantity of "as and when requested" goods is only an approximation of requirements.
    
    OPTIONS
    This requirement also includes three (3) options to purchase an additional quantity of up to a maximum quantity of 2,500 units per option.
    
    Option 1: exercisable within 12 months from the date of the contract award.
    
    Option 2: exercisable within 24 months from the date of the contract award.
    
    Option 3: exercisable within 36 months from the date of the contract award.
    
    PRE-AWARD SAMPLES AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:
    Pre-award samples along with supporting documentation (Material Data Sheets, test reports and letters of attestation) will be requested after the bid closing date from the lowest bidders.
    
    CANADIAN CONTENT POLCY:
    The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods.
