    TITLE: Closed Circuit Television System (CATV) upgrade at CSC Nova Institution for Women.
    
    THIS SOLICITATION CANCELS AND SUPERSEDES THE PREVIOUS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL # 21120-200076/A, DATED OCTOBER 2, 2019 WHICH WAS CLOSING AT 2:00 PM ON DECEMBER 10, 2019.
    
    The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) has a requirement to upgrade the existing Closed Circuit Television (CATV) System at Nova Institution for Women,180 James Street Truro, Nova Scotia, B2N 6R8.
    
    The Nova Institution for Women is a women’s multi-level security design facility and is one of six federal facilities for women across Canada. Work will have to be accomplished with minimum disruption to the daily operation and security of the institution.
    
    The work includes the design, supply, installation, testing, provision of operational and technical training and maintenance provider’s on the installed equipment, as described in the Statement of Work (SOW).  Refer to Annex A.
    
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    There is an optional bidders’ site visit associated with this requirement where personnel security screening and COVID-19 vaccination certification is required prior to gaining access to the site.
    
    It is optional that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held on July 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Nova Institution for Women. Interested Bidders shall meet at the Principal Entrance of 180 James Street Truro, Nova Scotia, B2N 6R8.  Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form at the site visit.  Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have attended the site visit.  Bidders who do not attend or send a representative to the site visit will not be given an alternative appointment.
    
    Bidders who do not attend the bidder’s optional site visit will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
    
    The onus is on the bidders to arrive at the site visit in a timely manner.  Bidders arriving late will not be permitted to attend the site visit.
    
    In light of the COVID-19 preventative measures, Government restrictions on public gatherings and physical distancing requirements in the workplace, the Bidder will be allowed only one attendee at the site visit.
    
    Bidders are requested to clearly identify the name of the participant, the name of the company, e-mail address and telephone number and submit it to the Contracting Authority by e-mail at robert.dube@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca . It is requested that this information be received by this office no later than June 29, 2022.
     
    IMPORTANT NOTE:
    In order to participate in the site visit, the representative of the Bidder will be required to have:
    
    -A proof of vaccination in paper format (i.e., print out version containing the individual name and the dates of the vaccinations) to confirm that she or he is fully vaccinated against COVID-19; and
    
    -A valid government issued piece of identification (ID) (i.e. Driver’s License or Passport).

    Drawings and Floor Plans will be provided to all Bidders during the optional site visit.
    
    The work is requested to be completed within 25 weeks after contract award.
