    Description

    The Defence Innovation Research Program (DIRP) – Call for Proposals Call 2 is for potential Bidders who wish to submit Proposals for the DIRP science and technology (S&T) cost-shared program. The goal of the DIRP is to benefit Canada by introducing new and innovative technologies into the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces. The program also supports the strategic research interests of the Canadian Armed Forces, the strategic objectives of DRDC, and research and innovation opportunities for the Canadian defence and security innovation base in order to create enduring defence R&D capabilities in Canada. This Call for Proposals provides specific instructions for potential Bidders who wish to submit Proposals to the DIRP, and outlines the process by which Proposals are prepared, evaluated, selected, and funded.

    Bidders are invited to submit Proposals to address the defined Strategic Objectives identified herein. The information provided will result in the Proposals being evaluated against mandatory and point-rated criteria defined herein. 

    No payment will be made for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of Proposals in response to this Call for Proposals. Costs associated with preparing and submitting Proposals, as well as any costs incurred by the Bidder associated with the evaluation of the Proposals, are the sole responsibility of the Bidder

    Innovators must follow only the current Call for Proposals – Call 2 when preparing their responses
