The City of Abbotsford invites tenders for JAMES WWTP 500kW Standby Generator No. 2 and Fuel System Upgrade. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:

The City of Abbotsford invites tenders for JAMES WWTP 500kW Standby Generator No. 2 and Fuel System Upgrade. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
- installation of a new 500KW Standby Cummins Generator;
- installation of a new, 35,000 L above ground, double wall, steel diesel tank to supply both the new and existing generators;
- installation of a fuel conditioning system to supply both the new and existing generators;
- supply and installation of new foundations for the new fuel tank;
- upgrading of the existing foundation to support the new generator;
- supply and installation of electrical and instrumentation components and wiring for the complete working of the above systems;
- supply and installation of piping and valving components for the complete working of the above system;
- start-up and commissioning activities of the above systems and equipment; and
- various demolition, removals and site restoration activities.
