Description
The University of Alberta (the University) in Edmonton, Alberta, is the largest post-secondary institution in the province with student enrolment of approximately 40,000 full and part time students of which approximately 80% are undergraduate students and 20% are graduate students. The University offers over 200 undergraduate programs and over 500 graduate programs. The University employs an academic and support staff of approximately 14,500. The University of Alberta and the Department of Computing Science is inviting the submission of Proposals to supply a MicroGrid Controller for the UCommons building. This equipment will be used to manage the various energy sources in the building – see more information in the attached diagram provided.
The successful proponent will be expected to supply and install the equipment as well as provide on-site training.
This purchase is being partially funded by the Canada Foundation for Innovation and the purpose of this RFP is to finalize this grant process and acquire the specified equipment.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 1 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/07/04.
