    Description
    The Edson Forest Area requires the services of an experienced and qualified contractor to provide liaison services between industry stakeholders, municipalities, other wildfire partners and area wildfire management branch staff during wildfire season. Services will be provided on an “as-needed” basis within the forest area in preparation for wildfire season and in response to increasing wildfire danger and emergency wildfire situations. The industry liaison will work closely with the wildfire information officer to maintain emergency contacts and resources information, build collaborative relationships with industry partners and share prevention messages. This may also include assistance with wildfire prevention projects and industry related FireSmart initiatives. During a wildfire incident, the industry liaison will establish an emergency contact list, identify key infrastructure and communicate critical information between industry stakeholders and wildfire staff.
