Burgeo Life-Boat Station Snow Clearing
Contract Period & Hours of Work
Snow removal and de-icing will be carried out Twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.

Background Statement
The Burgeo CCG Lifeboat Station (Category 2 SAR/RER Station, DFRP# 80546) is located at 99A Reach Road, Burgeo, NL. This facility was constructed in 2004 and consists of a two-storey wood-framed SAR Operations Building (480 sq.m. total) and a Boat Storage Building shared between CCG and Conservation & Protection (164 sq.m.). The first level of the SAR Operations Building houses office space, radio/operations room, garage and other support space. The second level houses staff accommodations. Lifeboat stations are staffed 24-7 seasonally on a rotational basis. The facility has one waste oil tank and one diesel fuel tank complete with dispenser pump.
Objectives of the Requirement
The objective is to have a qualified contactor to provide a quote for snow clearing & ice control at the SAR buildings in Burgeo.
Consultant is to submit a proposal showing the detailed cost estimate of all services described within this “Scope of Work” prior to commencing with any work. Itemize individual estimated costs for all components of the work (e.g.: estimated hours of work or cost per visit).
For the purposes of costing, consultant to allow for one (1) site visit.

All detailed work must be completed within timelines noted in section 2.0 to comply with the safety of our tenants and the operation of the building.
Departmental Support
RPSS will respond to consultant requests ASAP.
Departmental Responsibilities
RPSS will be responsible for contract administration i.e. approval of change orders, processing progress claims and other administrative tasks.
Consultant Responsibilities
Any sub consultants or contractors engaged by the prime consultant to conform to the documents noted above in addition to all applicable federal, provincial, and local by-laws/ regulations.
