This contract was awarded to:
The Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (“CDIC”) is a federal Crown corporation with headquarters in Ottawa and is responsible for providing insurance against the loss of part or all of deposits and for promoting and otherwise contributing to the stability of the financial system in Canada. These objectives are pursued for the benefit of persons having deposits with CDIC member institutions and in such a manner as will minimize the exposure of CDIC to loss. CDIC is also the resolution authority for CDIC member institutions.
CDIC has a requirement to establish a contract for Internal Audit (“IA”) services. While the audit functions are performed by internal resources, support from external resources is required to provide advice on specialized topics, conduct audits that require specialized expertise and provide support to IA so that engagements can be completed in a timely manner.
CDIC anticipates a requirement for two (2) internal audit engagements/projects per year as well as ad hoc advisory services.
Please see the RFP for further details regarding the Description of Services and requirements to submit a proposal.
