Updated: Transition to the CanadaBuys Tender Management Application

As of June 30, 2023, the Buyandsell Tender Management Application (TMA) is accessible in read-only. This final phase follows the March 31 disabling of the create new tender and award notices functionalities. The ability to amend existing notices is also no longer available.

How does this affect you?

You must now create any new tender and award notices using the CanadaBuys TMA. This includes award notices for any tender notices published on Buyandsell that are set to expire after June 30. To ensure transparency, information about the original Buyandsell tender notice should be added to the award notice description. This should include, but is not limited to:

  • the title and link to the original notice
  • the solicitation number
  • the publication date
  • the closing date

This is important information to add, as the two applications are not linked so the original Buyandsell notice will not appear in the Related notices tab of the award notice on CanadaBuys.
